Bluvo Pro and purchases

Restore Pro on a new iPhone

Sign in with the same Apple account you bought Pro with, open Bluvo, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases.

Cancel a subscription

On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Bluvo and tap Cancel Subscription. Do it at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. If you are subscribed, Bluvo’s own Settings also has a Manage subscription button.

Cancel the free trial

Cancel the same way before the 7 days end and you won’t be charged.

Get a refund

Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in, find Bluvo and choose Request a refund.

What is free and what is Pro?

Treatment plans, the volume calculator, wait timers and the Fix a problem guides are free forever. Free keeps your last 5 tests for one pool or hot tub; older tests are kept, and open again with Pro. Pro adds unlimited history and charts, test reminders, more pools and hot tubs, your own target ranges and CSV export.

Your data

Where are my tests stored?

Only on your iPhone. There is no account and no Bluvo server holding your data.

Moving to a new iPhone

Your Bluvo data moves with an iCloud or computer backup when you set up the new iPhone from that backup, or with Quick Start. If you start the new iPhone as new, Bluvo starts empty. Pro owners can export a CSV in Settings to keep a copy of their history.

Deleting your data

When you have more than one pool or hot tub, you can delete one with its tests in Settings → Pools & hot tubs. To remove everything, delete the app. See the privacy policy for the anonymous statistics and crash reports.

Questions about the plan

The dose looks wrong

Check three things first: the volume in Settings → Pools & hot tubs, the strength of each chemical in My chemicals (it is printed on the label, for example 10% or 12.5% for liquid chlorine, 31.45% or 14.5% for muriatic acid), and the test itself. A small error in volume or strength changes every dose.

Why only 75% of the pH dose?

pH often moves more than the math predicts, so Bluvo gives 75% of the calculated dose and asks you to retest after 30 minutes. It is easy to add a little more and hard to undo too much.

Why so much chlorine?

Your chlorine target depends on your stabilizer (CYA). The more stabilizer, the more chlorine you need for the same effect. See the target levels.

My test kit reads differently from the store

Strips and store tests can differ a lot from drop kits. For decisions, trust a good drop kit (FAS-DPD for chlorine) and enter what it shows.

Report a problem

Email bluvo.support@gmail.com with your iPhone model, iOS version, the Bluvo version (iOS Settings → Apps → Bluvo) and what you did just before the problem. A screenshot helps a lot.
